Tonight We Remember the Farmer Family of Richmond Texas

One of the main reasons I became a Graveyard Rabbit and started this blog is I love to visit Cemeteries and that I hope someone looking for their ancestor's gravestone will come across my addition and they will say " Oh My ".

That is how I feel every time I find one of my ancestor's gravestones. It does not matter if I have found it myself by visiting the cemetery or coming across it on the Internet through http://www.findagrave/ I still say " Oh My"

Their grave stone is so beautiful. There is a curtain covering the top and a book laying on top of the gravestone..

A book found on a cemetery tombstone can represent many different things, including the book of life, often represented as the Bible. I would picture the Bible would be open this one is closed.

A book on a gravestone may also depict learning, a scholar.

The curtain I am not sure of could be an actor or could be the curtain of life.

All of this I do not know but is beautiful.

If any one has any ideas I would love to hear them.

With them is buried Dorothy Bertrand born 1897 died 1954 . I was guessing her to be a daughter but in the 1920 census there is a Dorothy Henry married to Lawson Henry.
